Guys i need help. My throw out bearing retaining clip keeps popping off, which in turn locks up my clutch. This is the third time it has happened and it sucks because i have to pull the tranny, clip the peice back on and then put it back together. Nothing ever breaks it just pops off. What can i do guys? I drive an 05 MR. Is there a stronger clip from another Mitshubishi car that might work? Is anyone else having this problem? Any help would be great guys or any advice.

 

Try using three wave washers when you reinstall it. I had the same issue, has not broke since.

 

Do i get these from mitsubishi or somewhere else?

 

I got a couple off Exedy, but im running a Exedy clutch.
