Anyone totalled out an MR yet?

*Drivetrain related content*

I was looking in the for sale section figuring that there would be at least one MR busted up and being parted out, but no dice! The reason I was looking is that I am not willing to pay the price of a new 6 speed but would be willing to get a used one in good condition. Combined with a 4.111 final drive ratio this would be my dream setup for a daily driver. The great spacing of the MR gears and the gas milage of having 3000 RPM be 80 mph instead of 70 mph

That would be my plan one day, to find an MR transmission send it to Sheperd and have it refurbished. One day....

Looking at the milage on the ones I have seen for sale, they never drive them! Hard to get in an accident when the car sits in a garage all the time.
