cams and fuel pump question -

Ok, so I plan to do cams next (272/264 specifically) but I'd like to know if this upgrade will "require" doing a fuel pump upgrade... My car had been road tuned and the AFR's are where they need to be. Also, I run 21psi on my car (plan on keeping it there). I'm hesitant to buy the Walbro b/c 1) its mechanically loud and 2) it's been known to fail.

So aside from speculation and the "it's an $85 dollars insurance plan" can I run these cams on the stock fuel pump at 21 psi of boost on 93 octane pump fuel? Many thanks in advance...

It isn't even really needed unless you are holding 21 psi to redline but when winter hits your injectors will pick up nearly 10% injector duty cycle due to the drastic temp drop on those cold days. That is when I would kind of worry about it becuase the stock pump could have issues trying to keep up. During the winter time on stock turbo and injectors with all the other upgrades I could go over 90% at 20 psi & 7000 rpms running a 11.1 afr on a walbro fuel pump via AEM log.
