Question for those using nitrous

On average, how much does it cost to fill a 10 lb bottle?

$40 for the first fill. most shops sell nitrous for about $3.50 to $4.50 per lb. standard bottles hold 10lb.

each refill should be less, around $25 or so, as you can't actually run the bottle completely empty. The AF ratio will get very very rich and it won't make much power once a 10lb bottle has less than 4lb of nitrous in it.

Not spraying internally (mostly). With the heat around here, the car runs like a turd all summer long. I ordered the N'tercooler set-up from GSC. I just plan on using it to freeze the front end before running at the drag strip. I don't want to use Co2 just incase some does get sucked up the intake. To tell you the truth, I was bored and wanted a new toy for the car.

Get the Alky kit it will lower your intake temps and allow you to run more boost. Just a thought since you like to get a lot of toys for your car. It will help big time in the summer.

I might add alky later...when I can get tuned for it. Right now I'm looking for something to cool me down quick without waiting until October for a re-flash.

I agree, I would sell that kit and either go alky or a normal nitrous setup.

There's a small chance I might add alky injection later. Right now I'm looking for something to cool me down NOW without waiting for a re-tune. Mark (TT) is coming back down here in a few months, I'll think about adding injection then. It won't hurt to be running both.
