25, How old are you? And what does that have to do with anything? I've been racing cars for years. AutoX, drag racing. What are you Insinuating?

Good luck with everything, esp. getting it worked out with the shop and insurance. It's a pain in the ***, but fortunately you're ok and your car will be soon too Must've been scary losing control on something that seemed so normal and manageable...

You have been racing cars for years? Oh you must be good then! Racing on the street(taking a corner too fast) is not the same as autox or drag racing. You and your friend could be badly hurt or dead if the car DID hit that pole.

I'll go ahead and tell you what he was trying to say. It sounds like you were playing around or trying to show off to your friend and your inexperience bought you a healthy insurance deductable and increased monthly payment.

Glad you and your friend are ok, but next time keep it on the track Mr. I been racing for years. Maybe you need a little practice.

That's the point we weren't playin around or going fast. We were just running down the street for a few minutes and bam. One of the first things he said to me was, "damn we weren't even going fast."

Was just wondering (honestly) because there have been many instances of 19-20 year old kids wrapping themselves around telephone poles. Was just curious to see if that could be the culprit. Maybe there were small rocks in the road. My camry's back end came around on me once (not all the way, but it was sliding). Wasn't going that fast, couldn't duplicate things after the fact. I'm 34, BTW. I know, I'm getting old. I look young though

from the sound of it, you have far more issues to deal with than just an intercooler replacement.

don't be an idiot, call your insurance company and file and claim so you can get the car fixed properly.

got the quote from the insurance company. They are going to let me pick the intercooler as long as it's under $721.53 which was the quote and $166.60 for the intercooler piping. So I went with Buschur standard ic and the Logic Performance intercooler piping kit. Total it cost me $989 and insurance is going to cover all of it. Can't wait to get my car back. It's gonna be another week though or more.
