MBC Install How TO Help

I think I am an Idiot, I have read as many How-Tos and still am not comfortable installing this thing. Anyone out there got a How-to for Idiots?

If I understand correctly I have to remove the air box completely and the intake pipe that goes to the turbo. Is this first step correct?

Yes, remove your whole intake... then remove all the hoses from your waste gate actuator, turbo outlet, boost control solenoid, etc. It's the vac line with a tee in it; follow all those line and remove all of them. cap off your boost control solenoid with vacuum caps; 2 total. It's right under where your intake box sits. Don't forget to cap off the intake too, where the one line from the bcs was running to. Run a new vac line from your turbo outlet to the mbc and another line from your mbc to your waste gate actuator.

I just looked at this and while it makes the Install seem simple I can believe the work involved! Jeebus that undertray looks like hell considering the little screw/snaps. all this while being under the car! Blah. Great How-to tho, way better than the ones in the How-to section

no need to be under the car. removing the fan does help alot though. remove intake, maf and fan. you only need one cap, the one on the wastegate. you can use one of the small hoses on the actuator and recycle it back to itself, like using 2 additional caps. just go slow and read the directions. it's actually a fairly easy install. also if you remove the fan, it is a good time to sand the edges cause i think all of us got cut by the fan shround one time or another. just remember to repaint where you sand cause it's steel. good luck and pm me w/ specific questions if needed.

Boost source ---> MBC ---> Wastegate

Remove all restrictor pills.

It's as simple as that, just make sure you keep the "ins" and "outs" correct.
