exedy twin converted to triple????
don't believe so. The flywheel houses the entire thing and I BELIEVE is a different size between the two. However, check exedy's website, which is full of usefull schematics, part numbers, and point of contact information.
Actually - you *can* convert a Twin Metallic in to a Triple Metallic... it's a little fact we don't really advertize, but those brave soles that wish... can do it.
The reason it is possible is because the twin and triple share the save Cover (Pressure Plate) and Flywheel (the two most costly parts of the kit).
What you would need to do is order the following part #s:
Three New Discs - DM11R x 3
Two New Intermediate Plates - IM02 x 2
At that time, I would also have my Pressure Plate and Flywheel resurfaced. But remember, what ever they take off the Pressure Plate and Flywheel - they also need to take of the step (where the bolts go in).
Once you have all your parts it's pretty straight forward... if you have questions, feel free to give me a call.
Good Luck!
