Shifter Question

Lately i notice my shifter or my stick is more loose than it was a couple of months ago. It feels so much lighter and one can easily misshift. I was wondering what I can do to stiffen it up again.I have an act street clutch, which is still good. Also Im not getting the synchro grind yet. It just feel lighter and loose. I saw the aftermarket metal shifter bushings, and was wondering if anyone have them and what they can do. I have 16k+ mileage and I dont think my drivetrain fluids are change yet. Anyone know what I can do to stiffen my shifter again? I find it easier and more precise going in to each gears.
