as for the Chinese/Taiwanese units being JIC copies...uh, JIC is itself a Chinese/Taiwanese part

Aside from freezing my can off up here in Buffalo, we're doing great Adam.
The weather report called for possible flurries last night and I already threw my Nokians on. Hopefully the weather holds out longer down by you guys.

I was very surprised to see DC spent the time/money to port the collector up to the turbine housing flange, but there it is. I also set a Forced Performane 10.5 exhaust housing on it and the flange opennings at the turbine inlet match up perfectly.

I just got the manifold the other day. It really is beautiful, and I was most impressed with the inside of the collector as Inn-Tune said. Flanges are thick and strong as well!

I just sent it out today to PerformanceCoatings.com for a ceramic coating (2000*F).

Good idea. I haven't dealt with Performance Coatings myself, but we've had great results with Jet Hot 2000 and Swain Tech coatings on manifolds.

Yeah it was between both Jet-Hot and Performance-Coatings. I searched EVOm and didnt find much on Jet-Hot but I did on P-C and all of them (including long term) were positive. I called them, theyre inexepensive and fast! 3-4 day turnaround and only $80-100 to coat the manifold!

I don't like them for used parts, I had problems with the coating bubbling off due to outgassing of contaminents on a couple turbine housings. On new parts though they've been great though.

Jet Hot does awesome work...insane quality control, but you have to be PATIENT 9and forget trying to get an update on stuff)

Out of all the ones we have used, Swain is far away the best (ugliest, as it's white and feels like stucco, but worked the best)

Where can I get this header for cheap and now?, I called a couple of places and they are back ordered. If you know of any shop selling them for a reasonable price then tell me, I am looking for one as we speak.
