Considering the Tilton Clutch upgrade for my 05 EVO 8
I'm in the stages of looking at clutch upgrades for when I get my big turbo kit. and a friend of mine happened to recomend the tilton clutch since I usually buy the best stuff for my EVO anyway.
Anyway I called them and they have 3 levels of clutches for the evo, the full carbon carbon about $4k retail and the cerametallic about $1800, and the cerametallic hybrids which go for $1825.
I was looking at the flyer that they emailed me and figured the middle of the line clutch would best fit my budget and my needs and its supposedly rated to handle 600 ft. lbs of torque.. thats the one that retails for like $1825...
anyone with experiences with tilton?

The Carbon is the best choice. Hands down. I've installed alot of these in daily driver Supra's. There fairly easy to drive as you can slip the **** out of it.
I also have a twin Cerametallic in the Civic I race. It would be harder to drive on the street because the engaugement is alot harsher.
