so back to the drawing board, as many of you know my car is running very wierd lately, i have gone through the basic tests, boost leak, compression, changed plugs, changed o2 sensor in o2 housing, and put my car on a dyno to read a/f. the boost leaks were fine, the compression was 160 across the board, the plugs didnt help, the o2 sensor didnt help, and my a/f was 10.2:1 so i leaned it to 11.1:1 wich made the car faster but there is still an issue. my mods are 3" turboback no cat, intake, mbc 22psi, 255fp, ic piping and ic, 272 cams, dynoflash ecu. i am also running a safc now because for some reason my car started running rich and i leaned it out like i said on the dyno. my car originally dynoed at 338 after my dynoflash at pruven, my car recently hung dead even with a car that baselined at pruven with 268, and now he is flashed with mods putting down 301 and after i changed my a/f to 11.1:1 i am still dead even with him, my car pulls harder after i changed the a/f but it is still loosing around 30whp. what in the hell could this be???? i am sooooo pissed off at my car this has been a never ending battle with my car for over a month and i am ready to give up. i think i am going to order valvesprings and retainers to see if maybe my stock ones are worn out wich is causing me to lose power, and possibly a pocketlogger to check my timing. what the hell could it be if i cant find it soon i am getting rid of this ****ing thing because it is really bothering me now. thanks for any help! oh and al wont pick up his phone or return my messages that i leave on his phone asking him to call me back because my car isnt running right.
Timing getting pulled back.
Knock sensor getting too sensitive. ( going bad )
T-belt jumped a tooth.
Air flow restricted.
You probably lost some torque switching to SAFC so it feels slower.

I guess try and see what the knock readings are with the logger and see if you are indeed off a tooth.
But is it that common for timing belts to skip a tooth?
bump, still havent gotten a logger but i called al wich is where my original tune is from and he said that im not running enough boost, i told him that i was running 21-22psi and he said my boost guage was junk, i told him that i have a defi bf series gauge and he said that they sucked and that i need a new guage, i told him that my boost was fine the tubo spooled and kicked like it always had and that the boost gauge on there is what he tuned my car with and it hasnt changed. wow did that get me aggrivated but supposedly he is going to take a look at my car whenever he comes back home next week. any other input besides what has been said would be appreciated, oh and i really have a feeling that im pulling timing but what could cause me to pull timing??
