If your block is ok, go with the stock bore with 8.5 cr like craigbb did.

The AMS kit has my vote, I have talked with Eric and Martin alot on the phone and they sold me on that kit if I decied I want a stroker kit. There "new" design is totaly insane for reliablity. Im not going to try and give the details of the kit because I dont want to butcher there product and screw something up.. you know how forum rumors start lol.

I only want the stronger Stroker Kit to my Evo8 (only 6000kms.) (pump gas)
I like the Slowboy Racing Stroker kits and AMS kit.
What´s about Manley Rods, Wiseco and CP Pistons and 4G64 Remanufactured Crank?
I like Crower Rods, Ross Racing Pistons 8.5:1 Comp.ratio Stock Bore and New 4G64 Crank.
What´s your favorite Stronger Stroker kit combo?

Crower rods and manley rods are pretty much the same. I'd personally go with Wiesco instead of Ross. I think RRE has pictures comparing the two. Also go with a new 4G64 crank.

Don't forget the:

Engine gasket kit
Timming belt or belts
timming belt tensioner
tensioner pullies(this is up to you)
Balance shaft elimination

Maybe head work while it's out.
Who goes with stock springs on a rebuild.
Who goes with stock valves on a rebuild.
Maybe stock lifters depending who you ask.

Do you have the cash? Look your self in the mirror, ask that question, then go get a newspaper route going.
