what to do if i drop a 18G or 20G turbo

i was just wondering if any mods are needed if i drop a 18G or 20G turbo in the evo.... cause i just want to drop it in and be set... dont really want to spend that much money... i just have a aps intake so far...... let me know guys... thanks for your help....

No, this turbo will not put that combination into the 10's.

I would say that injectors are needed with this turbo. You might get by on the stock ones, it is going to completely depend on how much power you actually make. I could not run stock injectors in my car with this turbo.

If I were you, I'd talk to your favorite tuner first. Since you don't want to spend much money I doubt a turbo is the direction you want to go. How about and exhaust, boost control and a retune? That would get you much farther than just "dropping in" a bigger turbo for nearly the same price.

lol, 18g huh, talk about digging up old threads.


Nice to know that we have come that far though, glad this forum has made good progress. The 20g i feel was a great addition to the evo for certain setups.
