i need help!!! is it time to change bov?

i have s-afcII, greddy evo2, test pipe, k&n drop in filter, hallman mbc, and hks ssqv vta!!!!

i took out the ssqv and installed the stock bov....

1st, 2nd gear-like 14 psi
3rd,4th, 5th-25 pis!!

anything i done wrong, or should i buy the mr bov?

Its time to recirculate the hks ssqv! I have the jdm mr also and it works great. I also have the hks and it also holds boost preety well when recirculated.

I have the MR diverter valve (BOV) and it holds great. I'm going another way if you want it...make me an offer.

Not sure exactly what the problem is, but the MR will hold much more than the stock plastic one.

why did you put your stock back on??? your ssqv should hold boost fine. Is it just too loud for you??

I say put the ssqv back on either vta or recirc if you have the kit. If you didn't have a problem with it before, then it stands to reason that the stock bov is your problem (assuming you didn't install it wrong).

so all you did was change your bov and then this happened?

alright, how was it working before when you had the hks in? cause i think what you did is switched up the lines on the boost controller

i dont think i switched the lines incorrectly..the hose i took off the ssqv, i plugged it right back on the stock
