RnR Manifold installed?

hey

i will be installing an RnR intake manifold for a friend, on his evo..looks like the manifold have vacumm nipples on the bottom side..thats all good and all..but what about the sensors? like the ones on top of the manifold on the left side of the engine...what do you guys do..? run a vacumm box w. for the sensors..?

thats what i would do...is there another way that this can be done...?

thanks

im thinking the magnus intake manifold is basically the same set up as the RNR so anyone with the Magnus know what you do with those stock censors?

I found this info:

I don't have a problem with welding on some aluminum blocks and tapping for all the necessary sensors inlcluding the EGR. It seems that this is the only way to run the Magnus with the stock ECU. Leaving the EGR and other sensors off the manifold will create driveability concerns yet at full throttle everything should be fine since the EGR is inop at WOT.

So I guess if I do not custom weld these censors my car will run like s*** unless I'm at WOT? I would have the ecu tuned/flashed for the intake manifold so would I still have problems if I didn't install the censors?

You don't need to weld anything onto the manifold even if you are using the stock ECU.

most of these manifolds are not designed to accept emissions etc... better off running a EMS

Most guys that run sheet metal manifolds are using standalones. No need for MAF and the only sensor on the intake manifold is the pressure sensor(3 or 5bar.) The sensor uses 1/8 npt which is what its tapped for.

so do you recommend for people to run standalone if they have this mod.
