Good lord, another tranny leak, but from where this time?? HELP!!
well if it is light enough the seal surface could be buffed til it is a smooth surface again, if its real deep new axle shaft or some machine work (cnc type) if it is a light leak the retaining spring on the inside of the rubber part of the seal may have sprung loose during axle shaft install, it could be a lotof little things but brake cleen it first and make sure it is the seal, if you havent already fixed it

ive already replaced the seal once, so thats what makes me think it from somewhere else...It isnt like a HUGE leak, but enough to dampen the case and under my car (not dripping)....
yes, would also like to know. i have been told that people with quaiffe differentials have a problem locking in their axles to the stub shaft. then the axle rubs against the seal and damages it.
this info iam about to write dosent really sound like its near the area u are having problems with but hey ya never know could be possible i went nuts trying to figure out where my leak was coming from but eventually found it so all i can say is to atleast try these out. The thing is u have to separate/pull apart the t-case A LITTLE BIT to get to these o rings
well when i got my t-case rebuilt shep forgot put that large in size but small in diameter that goes on the "teethed" gear that slides into the tranny, also theres a really small oring that is for the acd and its really easy for it to fall out when trying to put the t-case in
