Just buying a clutch disk...will it work?

I am having major issues with my RRE clutch. The bastard lasted only 5k very easy driven miles.

You can read about my problem here if you want: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=154798

Since the clutch is fairly new can I get away with just getting the flywheel machined and getting a new disk?

Yes, you can get away with resurfacing the flywheel, if it doesn't have too many hotspots, isn't warped or has been machined once before ... it just depends on the condition of the disk and how much material is left. Most recommend just changing out the flywheel due to possiblity of failiure ...
