Don't know what ways you are talking about as far as hurting performance in MANY ways

You can't compair a stock cast manifold to a properly manufactured Tubular SS manifold with equal length runners. The SS manifold will make more power, that's why people upgrade to them. But again I have no idea on the Vishnu units, anyone run one?

Dyno numbers on pump gas, and 1/4 mile times on pump is all most people care about.

The only difference between the Vishnu stage 2 and stage 3 kits is the stock cast manifold vs. the tubulular manifold. Same dyno same tuner (Shiv). Differences between the 2 kits basically:

Stage 3 (tubular Manifold) had c 16 vs. 109 on Stage 2 (cast Manifold)
Stage 3 tested at 70 degree temps v. 100 degree on stage 2
Stage 3 had a leaner A/F ratio

Stage 3 = 494 whp
Stage 2 = 460 whp

There's your comparison.

as for pump gas

Stage 3 = 380 whp iirc
Stage 2 = 373

Have you been on a road course yet with your EVO and the stock turbo?

The ATP unit can’t even crack 400WHP and runs slower.

The Vushnu unit is VERY nice, but it costs about as much as the AMS kit so why bother without a Tubular manifold.

Buschur seems to be where it’s at, runs an unmolested GT30R AND makes a custom Cast manifold which may not flow as well as a tubular but is close and a lot more reliable and A LOT less assuming. I may buy the Buschur kit but I wana see Pump gas Dyno and Track times 1st.

I am way over turbo kit talk but since I have 2 min I will throw in my 2 cents.

Since you know it all master and you think that ATP 3071 spools like GT35 I will just let you know that you are way wrong. Do you have ATP kit? Have you driven a car with ATP 3071? The answer is no so please bring something intelligent to this thread or find something else to waste time on.

I do a lot of track days and racing events and stock turbo is the best for that setup. Now if you believe that you can get the most out of the stock turbo and your EVO then go and get a GT3 because that’s the next step up and for god sake stop wasting your money on EVO parts and get track time instead.

BTW you need to take these springs out before your track event because you just upset the car suspension with some springs for look instead of performance.

Do you run this kit or are you a fanboy? I remember that white rabbit making a lot of power too on the dyno, I wonder what it made when people bought it and brought it home.... Seriously do you run this kit? Know anyone who does? Pump gas trap speeds are in need to make a far judgement, then 1/4 mile times, then Dyno numbers.

Intelligence? No problem....What were your dyno numbers please and on what dyno?

Did you break 400WHP and WHY NOT

1/4 mile times?

This is sweet information. It seems that any of the three kits is a good buy.

Do you see the button that says search on it? If you do then click it, it carries wonders.

I did, sorry man Ima Newb so I am not that experienced yet. I know you like your kit and for the momey it seems nice, but I see no major power gains and aditional lag due to the new hotside.

Just to keep things simple and on one page, please post your WHP and your 1/4 mile times and trap speeds please.

Thanks

I am just curiuos on how much experience you have with the atp kit, you seem to know a lot about it, so why dont you tell us what the spool is like and what kind of whp it makes.
Thanks for the facts.

From the Dyno runs I HAVE SEEN 1ST HAND it makes about 380WHP on a Dynojet. This from a GT3071R of all things....... This turbo on an AMS/RNR kit SOMEHOW makes 40WHP more on pump gas. Spool is over 1000 RPM's slower then stock and from what I am seeing a full spool of 4400RPM's and is comparable to the RNR 50Trim kit. The RNR kit is an older Non BB unit and a non equal length manifold unless you opt $600 for it.

Again, users of the STP kit PLEASE post your WHP numbers and 1/4 mile times with traps.

Thanks......

wow, NO FIGHTING PLEASE. Specs and stats and 1st hand knowlege only. I had Tien SPrings, I would rather have aids then those springs They were terrible for handling and my suspension, great for looks.

like I said in the beginning of the post. I had an ATP and have the Vishnu, both with a 3037s.

For someone with a little money, the ATP is not a bad option, but it is not the best kit on the market.

As AZ3AR said the 3071 does pretty good, but the thread said 30R and I have PERSONAL experience with both 30R kits.

You stated earlier the tubular manifold makes a big difference. just to restate, no it doesn't with a 30R imho - hands on ho. Maybe the Busher kit, but not the ATP and certainly not the Vishnu set-up.

The Vishnu is hands down the better kit and for $1000 more a great deal.

Ok?
