Radiators: Which is worth the money?

With all the choices in radiators for these cars, which are recommended, which are worth the money?

The Koyo seems to be a bargain at the $375.00USD range...Is it as good as the PWR? The ARC?

What makes the PWR worth another ~$125.00USD...Fitment? Quality of build/materials? Name?

What makes the ARC worth nearly three to four times the price of the Koyo?

Any others out there worth looking at? I am interested only in all aluminum radiotrs...plastic side tanks are a pet peeve of mine. There is nothing worse than the side tank splitting from the core on the track and leavng a slippery, skid inducing mess on the track.

As you can see this is a fishing for information post right now...but as I start down the slippery slope of mods, I want to have a solid foundation so the engine can safely handle the strain that comes with more power.

I wish someone made a radiator that's smaller, but more efficient. I could really use that

Will you be upgrading to one of those aftermarket turbo kits that use either a tubular manifold or a big turbo? If so, you might have to consider whether it will all fit with a larger radiator. I believe the Koyo is the best bang for the buck but is significantly thicker as well.

I would love to get a Koyo but not if I have to remove it to fit a 3076 kit or something.

Hmmmmm...that is a good point. I would say for right now I am not going to go that route until I go stroker (years away in fantasy land right now). I will probably end up with something like the Buschur 20g, 6.5 TME, or maybe the SS55 whenever it sees daylight.

After I become numb to that level, then stroker and big turbo/tubular manifold.

I wonder if that is what the others have over the Koyo? More efficient cores with increased cooling capacity without excessive width?

that is why the arc is so expensive... its intricate finning is unparalleled by any radiator manufacturer on the market.

if you are worried about mani clearance you should just get a big radiator and get a small ramhorn mani...

Check out Buschur's EVO 8 Mini Fluidyne Radiator Kit. I'm not sure about more efficient but it is smaller
