Thanks!!! Already read it like 3,4,5 times. I'm going w/ WhtEvo to the Auto Skills center on base (I'm active duty USAF) to use their tools and lifts.

Install became a b*tch when we needed to open the outer housing hold the diff. I think we worked that thing for about 3-4hrs before I got it to open. I'll post pics of it later on today. IT was complete destroyed!!!

I was able to get those ring gear bolts off w/ a breaker bar by chucking on a vice. I used the gear teeth to prevent it from rotating. But I couldn't put them back on the same way because of the gear teeth angle. It kept slipping off the vice. I ended up just using some red loctite and impact wrenching those suckers on.

5k miles, 7 autocrosses, 21 drag passes, and 1 track event later, I haven't had a problem w/ the diff or those ring gear bolts coming loose.

marksae: Do you find the steering is a lot tighter now? Almost feels as if it doesn't have power steering unless the car is moving.

That doesn't sound normal. After I installed mine, steering felt exactly like it did before. You'd better check to make sure everything was reinstalled correctly.

^^^^^^^^^^when drvining aggressively i found my steering to be somewhat looser rather then tighter (more oversteer) so that does not sound normal at all
