Squish area is where the combustion chamber is designed so that it almost comes in contact with the piston. Your Ross pistons are machined so that there is a flat area at the top of the piston that matches up with the flat area. When the piston is at the top of it's stroke the air/fuel mixture in the cylinder "squishes" out from between this space, squirting the mixture into the main combustion chamber creating turbulance which leads to good combustion.

I got to drive the car this weekend to the NOPI Nats. It drives like a dream! I can't believe it. It feels like a cadaillac. I can't wait to break it in so I can feel the power!!!!!

and i cant imagine how your radiator hose could work without melting? thanks!
