Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I can't wait to get it broken in so I can have some #'s for it. I have 600 miles on it so far. Should probably have 1k by next weekend. Yay!

 

Just decided today that we will be sending our extra tranny and transfer case out to be built next week. I should also have some dyno #'s next week since my break in is almost over. I don't know if there is anything excited about a built tranny but I will take pics and post them if there is

 

The car has made 400 awhp on pump at 15 lbs so far. We should be turning it up next week when I get my new clutch...if it ever gets here.

 

I thought you were the guy assembling the engine?

Just an update on the progress of the car. I got the clutch mentioned above. Then come to find out the turbo was bad and had to be replaced (it actually made 755 awhp with the bad turbo). It took us several months to get the new turbo back and in the meanwhile we built our 2 drift cars

So now we have the new turbo and it just needs to be dynoed. I'll post those #'s as soon as I get them.

I dont wanna be mean, its a beautiful car (I love the header too ) but how could you possibly hit 750+ WHP on a bad turbo? Bad like it wasnt polished or what?

Congrats on the run by the way! Did the car start to break up badly at the end or what? 125 mph doesnt come close to 700 HP... kinda like 400-450 ish.

 

It wasn't making 755 awhp at the track. The 755 was with race gas and nitrous. We are trying to sell the car so we toned it down a little. This pass was made on pump gas and methanol.

The bad turbo's wheel was hitting the housing. It was still spinning, but it was hitting at a particular spot. We had been running the turbo like that for a while and didn't know it until we made those #'s and heard the turbo making a little clicking sound.
