Not Boosting at ALL

Ive been having this problem for a while now and did almost everything I can think of.. what else can I do or look for?

So far I have done:
checked the whole intake system to the turbo
checked the turbo (spins and no shaft play)
changed upper and lower ic pipes (AMS Pipes)
replaced gasket from turbo to lower ic pipe
replaced fmic (AMS FMIC)
replaced the wg (another stock one)
checked all the misc lines
changed the mbc

and still not building up boost.. not even .2 BAR

can anyone think of anything else??

Damn, I was hoping the actuator I sent you would solve the problem.. Doublecheck the preload on the WG actuator again, if its not that, then it unfortunately may be something with the hot side... I guess you could take off the O2 housing and check out the wastegate flapper, see if its damaged.

This may sound crazy but maybe there's a problem with the shaft? I don't know if this is possible but I wonder if you can see/feel the turbine move when the compressor wheel is spun, like if the shaft broke, again, I don't know if thats even possible.

Another stupid thought.. Maybe the DV is stuck open or getting no signal? I don't remember from all the other posts if you checked or replaced that yet.

I sent him one of my spare actuators.. I doubt the one I sent could be defective also, but its possible..

When and what were the circumstances when it stopped? If the center section was shot, I'd think you'd be blowing smoke.

Have you tried replacing the boost controller? If you're only making 3#, then you're making some boost...

Damn, I just made a realization, I posted it in your evo-ny thread.. Check your HKS BOV, the little valve could be jammed open.. Usually if the diaphragm is damaged or somehow it gets cocked slightly it can jam..

FWIW when that little valve is open, it recirculates boost into a secondary chamber which pulls the big valve open.. This could explain the very low boost since it requires some level of boost to overcome the larger valve's spring pressure.. and if its the job of the small valve to keep the boost in until there's a vacuum signal..

I have an insane suggestion and you have to be really careful, but somehow block off the BOV's outlet and see if you get boost..

Does it feel slower? Or maybe it's just your gauge?

that would be funny if thats what it is. if it was ur turbo i assume it would be blowing smoke. so i think the only reasonable answer would be the bov. try ur stocker and see if it holds at all.

long shot, but I was having low boost syndrome, as far as I can tell the wastegate was not closing fully. In my case from too much carbon, maybe I was to rich, and maybe my water injection was being recirculated (not likely as it would be darn little water) via the bov, which would have kept the fuel from burning off cleanly.

as I think about it is all conjecture based on assumptions

ha ha Look at the time of my post. I was typing as you were posting. You answered my question before I posted it.
