My goal is to get 450-500whp with a GT35R. Do you think its a good idea to use a exhaust that has some resonators or silencers built in it? Currently I have a Greddy Ti TBE and Im thinking of switching to the Fujitsubo RM01A or HKS silent power exhaust. If im pushing 300hp and switch to a quieter exhaust ill probably lose maybe 10-15 compared to my Greddy Ti but lets say if im pushing close to 500whp and then slap on the quiet muffler wont the loss of hp gap be much bigger than just 15whp, maybe like 30-40whp? If the power is significantly lower with the quiet exhaust at those high hp numbers then ill just deal with the sound and live with it.

 

I am not 100% sure on this but my understanding is that with that much power you are going to want the most free flowing exhaust for it to make the most power. So I would say keep the Greddy Ti.

You will definitely lose power with the Fuji. But if you still want quiet, it won't hurt anything, you just won't be at the most power potential.
