fujitsubo RM-01A ti or HKS carbon-ti

im just got my evo a month ago. im now slowly modding it. i plan to get either ARC or HKS rs and to match it which should i get fujitsubo RM-01A or HKS carbon-ti. now what im looking for here is based on performance and sound. looks and money dont really count that much so which is ur choice without the $$ problem.

I voted for the Fujitsubo because the HKS Carbon-Ti is way too played out already...

i'll be getting my HKS carbon Ti soon, i'll make a sound clip for anyone who would like to hear it.... It will be bolted to a stock downpipe and stock cat for the time being... Later video's will be made as the dp arrives.... PM me in about a week if you want a video

how kinds of sound level you want?

I can tell you RM-01A is super quite....kevo has it on his car, also with Fuji's dn-pipe and UR test-pipe, it still sound like stock !!

I haven't get a chance the hear the HKS ti in person but I'm sure there's nothing so quite like RM-01a.

the main reason is RM-01A has 2 resonator....so if you want max pwr...i think HKS may be a little better.

i just want quiet, not so loud and a good quality sound. another thing is i dont want too aggressive performance. i just want above average performance but definitely a better performance over stock. i trust fujitsubo coz my friend has it now on his impreza STI and all i could say is its an outstanding, state of the art exhaust system. no wonder its very well respected in jap.

to help you out, this will be the basic mods that im gonna put:
ARC induction box
FUJITSUBO RM-01A exhaust
FUJITSUBO downpipe
TEIN type FLEX coilovers
CUSCO front/rear strut bar
18x8.5 ENKEI WRC tarmac EVO
240/40/18 DUNLOP FM901
FERODO brake pads

tell me what you think about my plans. thats just basic, i will be adding more mods so please dont freak out and say thats all u gon put? and btw, my evo is white. i just want my evo to be not so aggressive just what i said above average and a better performer over stock. and btw, wuts the difference between the FUJITSUBO front pipe and the downpipe.

i have the hks carbon-ti and it is really nice exhaust, extremely high quality fit/finish/sound. However, I like the fujitsubo too though I have not seen or heard one in person. The fujitsubo is a good looking exhaust, but i still voted hks because i have had a great experience with it.

ok as an update, the fujitsubo comes up short since its JDM so i really cant tell about the looks, but the sound its high quality and its quiet as stock even with a dp. i have plans on changing it to super-ti and adding a JDM rear bumper. pwer gains didnt really notice much. but definitely has improvement over stock

i vote HKS carbon-ti..this is because i have one and it sounds great..its like a low/deep sounding exhaust...it is 91.2 decebils with stock cat and stock downpipe...it is also light weight as well..but its your preference..im pretty sure that the fuji is a good exhaust its just personal preference...but i say go with HKS..

I have a Fujitsubo RM-01A SS cat back for sale. It is new and never mounted with all gaskets and brackets that came with it. It is extremely well made as has been said and pretty light. I live in Orange county, CA and can deliver in the area. It is a one piece exhaust so shipping is difficult.

Agree that the Greddy Ti should be considered. Also HKS will be coming out with a full Ti version of their High Power muffler called the Spec R . Piping will be 75MM. No price yet. Looks very close to the Greddy except for the piping size.
