My EVO has 7,000 miles on it and the clutch still works like the day I got it. That sucks dude. Won't warranty cover it though, if everything is still stock.

No they won't. I was in the same situation. Mitsu sucks ****. They are on the verge of going broke so they don't cover anything. Good luck.

in the manual it states the clutch plate has a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty, but doesnt cover normal wear and tear, so unless they expect these clutches to wear completely out in less than 4k miles, they are putting a brand new clutch in, and if they expect the clutch to wear out, its off to a lawyer i go cuz this will be my 3rd trip for warranty work and i've had the car 3 months

Yeah... your clutch is gone, and if you're stock, Mitsu owes you a new clutch. Ask people in your area which dealers are cool about stuff (some are much worse than others) and then just take it in and tell them "something's wrong"... Don't let them try to pin anything on you!!!
