Cams look a little difficult to install by myself. Do you guys think I would be able to do it alone, I have the tools, or should I take it to get done. If I take it to get done, where should I go? I live 2 hours from Vishnu. Or maybe a local mechanic? What do you think?

Look at all the mods in my signature. My UTEC logs indicate that I run at around 85% injector capacity.

Does this mean that you can run 26psi with alcohol and be fine with stock injectors. I am installing tbe, intake, walbro fuel pump, head studs, EBC and alcohol, and I am wondering if I need injectors since I will be boosting over 23 psi. I don't want to spend money on unecessary parts. Thanks

That is correct.
Straight denatured or methenal. Keep the stock injectors in there.

That doesn't matter. The greatest demand on injector capacity occurs at the hp peak and is dependent only on the peak hp level. Unless you're making around 400whp (DJ) on straight gasoline, it isn't an issue. Using alcohol injection reduces the injector load anyway.

I am glad to read that. I didn't really want to buy injectors. I had read that injector sizing is related to both hp and boost, so I wanted to find out which one it was. Thanks for the help.

Blanket statements regarding mods and injector sizing are helpful as guidelines. But really what you need to do, especially if you're pushing the envelope is actually measure the injector pulse width and calculate the injector duty cycle. If you're over 85-90% you're beginning to run the risk of an injector going static.

well i that's all true. You will need Injectors and HP pump if you going to run higher boost,a and also if you going run SAFC or some source of fuel management, i would get bigger injectors. Think it this way, if your car mkae more power it will get thirstier,

Injectors are not needed until you have a full GT turbo upgrade or running extreme psi with the stock turbo. However....your tuner should be able to tell you what % of your injectors are running. He can help you determine what size injectors you will need to match with your application.

Thanks,
Tom
