I believe it was on a Dynojet. Hard to say on what gas. Would be really hard to tune and make any power on 91. **** is like drinking lite beer.

love hearing the stock turbo can do that... cuz it is a stock turbo... what... did you expect something different?

i just want to see some before and after dynos laid on the same graph, thats really the only way to get a good grasp on what these things will do for your 1500.

It is wierd though, haven't heard much about them...which is strange.

unless that's on 15psi thats not impressive.

Perhaps its just a well known, well kept secret..

Actually its probably because there's only about a dozen of them out there now, and unfortunately I personally have had some "life events" getting in the way of testing the turbo. Also my car was rear-ended recently (August) and has been in the bodyshop in the time all my parts were delivered.. How frustrating is that?

On the other hand, most people seem to really miss the point of what these stock based turbos are for. I have personally seen the WR make nearly 400whp and a huge torque curve albeit on race gas.. I'm certain the 20G could do the same or better on Meth, but also it shoud do really well on 93 pump too. But its not really about the power, but the drivability. Many of us are more interested in reliability and drivability, but also delivering power over a broader range. Which is what this turbo is all about. I can guarantee you that most of the disappointing results of ANY turbo upgrade, are due to mismatched parts, or just bolting the upgrade onto an otherwise basically stock setup. The reality is there's more to making power than bigger injectors and giant turbo.. People overlook simple things (Not cheap things) such as reducing restrictions throughout the entire induction system, including the exhaust manifold, intake manifold, pipes, throttle body, etc.. All of these items individually might not be worth huge gains in themselves, but place a more efficient or larger turbo and the gains can be dramatic.

The big problem is people have high (unrealistic) expectations from just ONE change.. Horsepower gains aren't cumulative, 5hp on a dyno for one item, plus 5hp on a dyno for another item, could equal 10hp gain, or 30hp gain, depending on how well they work together.. In some cases, the two changes can nullify eachother (for instance a large intercooler which is mismatched to the turbocharger and has too little restriction, could move air through it too quickly to drop the air temps and therefore you lose the benefit of more air).. Etc..

I think we are splitting hairs with these turbos. I dn't see any major WHP gain but certainly a torque bump kinda like the TME does for $500 cheaper.

Here is a small update of course it is from my personal car.

The car made 361 whp last week at 25-26 psi on our MD. This puts it in the 425 whp range on a Dynojet. This was also on racegas.

The car, if it doesn't rain tomorrow, will be at the race track. I am hoping for 10's.

Yes, injectors and fuel pump are almost essential..

what size injectors would you say to use, and still allowing control over a flash

What kind of dyno was that on? If it was on a dynojet im not inpressed. 333whp on a mustang would be ridiculous.

sounds pretty good! what about numbers on pump gas though.. most people cant afford to run the car on 100octane all the time.

Buschur 680's are what I have.. I wouldn't go larger than 700.. I think with 680's you'll have plenty of headroom.

IF you run the car on pump gas there is a SMALL chance the stock injectors will be enough at 22 psi and lower boost. I suggest getting the 680's with the 20G, that's what I have in my car and the highest duty cycles I am seeing are right about 90%.

I have not dyno'd my car on pump gas, I will in time. It has had race gas in it since the shootout as I keep attempting to go back to the track. Today I was suppose to go....it's raining.
