New clutch break in???

I took my '04 to the dealer on Monday to get the transmission input shaft bearing replaced under warrenty. They said it would take 2 to 3 days max. Being a small dealership, they only have one Mitsu tech and he decided to call in sick on Tuesday. So I called them yesturday to express my disappointment. To my suprise, they offered to install a new clutch at there expense for my trouble. My question is: What is the break in period for a stock clutch? I have been planning to attend the local Auto-cross on Saturday, but I was'nt planning on getting a new clutch before then. I wont get my EVO back until Friday afternoon, so that means I have less than 24 hours to break in the new clutch. Should I race my car on Saturday, or waite until next season to run it?
Also: Would it be a good idea to have the dealer fill the cases with Redline fluids??

1 dont put the stock clutch back in. Get a A.C.T clutch. Or what ever you can afford. 2 dont put redline crap in your car. I just had my tranny rebuilt under warranty, and the tech told me that the oil was not good for the tranny. Break in is about 300miles I believe. If you put a clutch in and go racing, you better be ready to put another one in.

Well as far as an aftermarket clutch goes, 450-500 miles of stop and go driving was recommended for my Centerforce clutch. Highway miles really doesn't count, it's the stop and go driving that helps break in the clutch the best. Years ago I neglected to break in my clutch the proper way and it just slipped all the time and I ended up having to replace it again in a couple of months.

300-500 miles of stop and go without launching or banging gears, just drive it as much as you can before the autocross.

I know that the stock clutches are weak, but I am not going to turn down a free one. As for racing this weekend, I think I will be a spectator. well maybe
