i have the same setup as you.... i've had both dynoflash and TT and both resulted in similar outcome..... i jumped from 279whp to 295 just by adding MBC set to 20 psi, DP and hfc (and torque roughly 15+).

for the tp and the hfc, are they interchangable...so as to say; if i were useing a tp and needed to swap it out for the hfc for emissions, would it be a simple in and out job?

I use the Perrin downpipe with a Helix cat, and then the Perrin catback exhaust. Sounds nice and a noticeable increase in power. The Perrin required you to add some spacers (couple of washers) on the crossbar in front, other than that, fits fine.

thats a waste of money. just buy the TP and if you need to pass emisions use the stock cat.....

I just installed the Megan DP and TP and let me say I can feel a big difference, there is no more bang when the turbo get going its a lot smoother revving up. I am a novice (if that good) and installed them myself in about an hour.

They did a test on a Evo using a Downpipe and gained 21.9whp alone. I can dig a bit more and find the magazine(not even two months ago).

A full TBE with a test pipe or hfc will be a good starting point.

You will get many different opinions about what's better.

I spent more for a perfect 76mm WORKS ceramic coated dp to help
protect the passenger compartment and ACD from heat. Also the idea
of keeping the exhaust gases hot for better throughput sounded appealing.
The fitment is second to none.

I prefer a UR hfc over a testpipe to keep emissions and exhaust smell down.
I did the mechanical O2 fix in hope to prevent a CEL. so far so good.

I had a custom 3"/76mm IP made for real cheap with mandrel bends.

I opted for the Stealthworks muffler.

Almost as quiet as stock and looks stock.
