Exhaust Manifold Question

How much hp gain can I expect to get if I get an exhaust manifold? I've heard to many stories about this part. Check my mod list so you can judge it. I'm sure that this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything about it. Thanks a lot everyone.

I go for Bang-for-buck.
The manifold woulf be one of the later mods I do. There are too many other mods that make more HP/TQ than a manifold on stock turbo.

Cams are your next big HP mod, then an intercooler, (no matter what others say, I picked up a measurable amount).
Then water/methanol kit so you can kick up boost.
All stock Evos should have the following before an exhaust manifold:
Turbo-back exhaust
Intake
Boost contoller
BOV (good one)
flash or fuel contoller (tuned)
intercooler
intercooler pipes
cams
cam gears
boost accuator
water/alcohol injection
injectors (if future mods planned)
throw a clutch in there somewhere

Sounds like a plain. I won't waste my money yet. I'm thinking cams, cam gears and a Flash next.

Upgrade the exhaust manifold later down the road if you plan on upgrading the whole turbo system, engine internals, and have high boost alcohol injection. I've read that the gains are little or none when your not a heavy breather. Also I've read of many problems with leaks, cracking, etc.

If the ugly rusted stocker irratates you, get a polished heat shield from one of the vendors here like, Buschur, GSC, or anyone else that has them

Cams are pretty much the next mod in line for you. Just make sure they are installed correctly after thurough research on the topic. No matter what combination of mods are used, cams are guaranteed for HP as well as a little torque
