Exhaust Manifold Question

Why not get the stocker ported and coated? From what I have read that is the way to go as far as reliability issues go. You dont have the worries of a tubular manifold (cracking, leaking, etc.) and you have better flow.

It would seem to me that you would want to do something with your manifold, O2 housing and hotside. I mean if you think about it, you upgraded from the turbo back to flow better, why not the "other side" (so to speak).

I guess the only thing you can do is look at your upgrade path that you have set up for yourself and see if it makes sense. Personally these are my next mods that I will be doing. Then next spring I hope to do cams and cam gears, injectors and fuel pump. Then take it to get it tuned.

Just my thoughts.
