Anyone that traded a Mitsu in on their new EVO X get the Mitsu Loyalty discount of $500. My dealer showed me a sheet that said that the EVO did not qualify for the discount and I questioned him about it and he said that if they did offer it, he would give it to me.

 

Ok I found out. I called MMNA customer service and sure enough for the month of Feb or March the EVO X does not qualify for the loyalty rebate. That is a bunch of crap!! This is my third EVO, is that not loyal enough....lol I drop $36k on this car and dont get the rebate, but if I would of bought a $16k lancer DE I could of got the $500. What the heck is up with that?? But on a good note I am glad the dealer was not lieing to me.<-----I would of been very mad then. Oh well, I still love the car and I am not going to let $500 spoil that.

And South Coast Mitsu prominently lists the loyalty rebate in all their ads.

 

^ I know and that is what is getting me. I saw the sheet with my own eyes and I just called Mitsu customer service and they said that it did not get it. I dont know what to do.

 

On a side note...The Mitsubishi loyalty rebate applies to if you own another Mitsubishi at time of purchase as well. You don't just have to trade in a Mitsu. to get it. Glad you enjoy your car, I can't wait to get my X sometime in the next couple of years!

that ia not true. every mitsu qualifies for it if you give them a copy of your current registration.

 

^ I just called to speak to my salesman and he quit yesterday and then I was like ok let me talk to my finance guy and he does not work there either anymore. lol I was like ****, let me talk to someone who still works there and can help me....i just bought this car 4 days ago!! So i talked to the other finance guy and he is going to help me out. What a deal.

 

We purchased my wifes Outlander in November and on Thursday, when I purchased my Evo X, I got the loyalty discount. If the dealer really want's to help you out, they should give it to you. Keep on them.

 

Ok, Now this is irratating me. I did not get the Loyalty rebate for the 08 Lancer GTS I traded. Nor did I get the Military rebate. Dealer won't honor it. Anybody have a corprate number in the US?

 

The dealer in KC Missouri said he would give me the $500 off, same guy I bought my IX from.

I just couldn't justify spending 36k on the X when I bought my IX SE new for 30K.

Maybe next year when they will discount them more.?.?

UPDATE, i went back to the dealer tonight and they said they are going to give me the loyalty rebate. They said that cant take it off of my finance amount now because they already turned in the deal but they are going to cut me a check. This made me feel much better. Glad my dealer came through.
