LPI cat delete question

I recently purchased a resonated Logic Performance 3" cat delete. To me it looks like the Megan Racing unit. On pictures below you'll see that it is somewhat restricted - the middle section dia. is smaller than the pipe sections at the flanges. Does your MR unit (if you own one) look the same ? I'm concerned about the restriction, as it will probably not flow as good as regular test pipe. Any opinions ?

Thanks for the reply, what were your other mods ?
Anybody else would like to add something ?

BTW, I have to tell you guys that Logic Performance is awesome. I could not believe how fast they shipped my stuff. I placed the order on Sunday night and the next day in the morning I had the tracking #, now that's service. I have never experienced anything like that before, and I bought tons of stuff on the internet.
Keep up the good work Logic !
