Here, here!

I'm actually looking for something myself... I've wanted to go to the strip for a while now, just to see if she is really as strong as she feels. However, I know one run (and getting thrown out) for a non-drag racer is not going to be enough to do what I want to do. I'm wanting something to just be "legal", with as few compromises as possible.

unless your going 11.49 or faster you should be OK with just a helmet.

Like I said, I don't want to risk being thrown off the track after one pass...

and I'm not sure that is correct...

Well I didn't know you were making that much power... or that you could drive that well what does your setup consist of?

As far as the rules go I'm sure you are aware that they were changed last year from 11.99 and faster to 11.50 and faster needing a cage.
