ACT clutch/Fidenza Flywheel problem
So I go and pick up my car from the shop after waiting what seemed like forever for these folks to finish the install of my clutch and flywheel. I take it for a test drive to make sure everything is a-ok before I fork over the cash. Instantly, I notice a problem. The engagement is nowhere near stock, and I'm not refering to the increased clamping load. The engagement is so rough and chattery that it's almost not streetable. I tried slipping the clutch gently and still, it chatters and bucks. First thing that came to my mind was to call Road Race Engineering(thats where I purchased about 80% of my parts). They informed me that with the RRE pressure plate and ACT disc, it should feel pretty close to stock as far as engagement goes, but the installed tells me all I need to do is let it break in and it should feel smoother. Well, 300 miles later, it's still rough and at times it feels like the tranny is shaking apart. Not sure what the problem is and the installer said if I'm not satisfied, then bring it back and they will make adjustments. I don't think I'll be taking it back to their shop since they don't seem to know much about Evos.
Is anyone else having any similiar issues? Is there some type of easy fix to this? Any info will be much appreciated. I'll be garaging the car till I find a solution. I'd hate to do any more damage than what's probably already done.

I have the same setup minus the RRE plate , with no problems as of yet. I had mine installed at the dealer of all places. Maybe there's something wrong with how it was installed?

get under the dash and adjust the clutch pedal, I have the ACT clutch and the Fidanza Flywheel too. I had to adjust the clutch pedal for smoother engagement, but be careful not to adjust it too much, you may only rotate the bolt down a couple of threads but it is very sensitive, a couple of turns makes a huge difference. If you need a diagram on how to perform the adjustment PM me and I'll e-mail it to you.
