Quote: I'm pretty sure a GT35R will make 38 or more PSI.... care to eleborate on how the turbo will not boost any higher than this?

Keith

Keith I was being fecicious with IDRINKV8...........we will be tuning it at about 22 psi in the end. For now, it will be at 19...20psi

Nice comparison. Peak numbers aside, area under the torque curves are similar.

Could the spoolup difference be the Xedes rpm mappable boost control?
What boost control did the RNR/2.4 have.

both cars are xternally gated using the same exact boost controller.

Cool, when I first saw your post, I didn't realize you were the guy who tuned it..... I was thinking you were a retarded newbie

I believe the better spool of the AMS set up is due to it using the .63 turbine housing. The RnR car has a larger one, so even its additional displacement (~.12)can't make up for it. Both cars were running very low boost: just over 19psi.

Is AMS using a 4bolt garret turbine hausing or a 5bolt pt turbine hausing like the RNR kit.

That is Jimmy's. How ya' doing Ryan? The point of the post was to show two great cars making really nice numbers on VERY low boost. You can see that the AMS spools a little better, but the RnR has nice little torque hump that is impressive. Both cars were at or around 19 psi. Rumor has it that the RnR car makes 440whp on this dyno when tuned more aggressively on 91.

Ya, Jimmy has the .82 AR GT series 4 bolt so that might be part of the reason for a little more lag. Both cars are pretty impressive in my opinion.

The RnR car ended up making as high as 440 on pump but settled closer to 420 at 22psi. We wiil look for the graphs later today.
