i just put hte Greddy type RS on my 05 evo , and it is recirc. Its ok, but its not "loud". Like its not like someone can hear you a block away. You dont' really want it to be loud. Besides when you're building up boost you will have to be accelerating so nobody will really notice it lol when you pass them(maybe). Or you could brake boost lol.

Imo i would get the greddy type RS recirc for its purpose(it holds boost well).

also you hear the turbo spool better, and you hear the dump

on cold nights, you can definitely hear it better = )

why don't you just adjust the GFB you have right now? make it more recirculating than vta and you'll be fine. im running about 70% recirculate and 30% VTA on my GFB and its loud as hell

Btw, my ebay bov works really good (no leak) and it's loud at 5 pounds. Imagine at 19psi, it will be so loud.

The HKS is the loudest by far with the standard silver fin. I installed a purple fin to take the high pitched notchy sound out. I have the APS now and its no where near as loud--but it works a hell of a lot better than the HKS unit.

I have the recirculating Forge valve.

Even with an Arc intake, I don't consider it very loud. It's audible, but the exhaust gets more attention.

You can get a .wav file of a BOV sound from www.blowoffvalve.com and then burn it onto your cd. and then you can play it in your car and repeat the track as many times as you want. You can turn it up as loud as you want or as low as you want.

You can adjust your Volume on your car speakers. Good look with everything.
