Additional source of air inlet

Hi all. I have the Kansai CF airbox in my car now, with the HKS green mushroom filter.

Was thinking of relocating the i/c tank, and routing an inlet hose (those Billion type) from the lower left corner of the bumper to the filter, thereby establishing a 2nd source of air.

Currently I'm running a stock engine/turbo with MAP PowerFC with Jun 272/272 cams.

My qn is: would there be a noticable improvement in response/power? Or would the smallish-looking inlet of the airbox be sufficient already?

Thanks... just wanna seek some opinions first so that I dunt waste time/$/effort on this mod.

you're not gonna ram any air in... your turbo intakes air at over 100 mph... in order for you to ram any air in at all you gotta be going over 100mph to create any pressure gradient that would force air in.

basically right now your turbo is sucking it faster than you can ever cram it... SO more inlets is better but the whole point is to just keep the hot air out and let the turbo take air from wherever is cold.

with the box you got that taken care of.
