I think ev08buoy meant the front O2 not the rear one.

I was meaning the front yes... I mean is there different service engine lights for exact reasons... I mean from getting it scanned I didn't get to retreive the code but was just told.. No Activity on Front 02 Sensor.

Could this mean it's not working no more or unplugged.. or possible for both.

This is causing my car to run like crap and extremely rich... I mean raw fuel is literally spraying out my exhaust.

I don't think getting a CEL from replacing the stock cat and putting in a test pipe will cause your car to run bad does it?... I mean it doesn't seem harmful for the CEL due to catylic efficiency.

dumbest comment ever

the front o2 sensor is a little tricky...especially if you have a few thousand miles on your car. I had to replace mine at about 43K and it was stuck in the o2 sensor housing pretty good. it definitely was not easy. just be patient and for god sakes, be careful of your radiator.

uh, you probably were running too rich & clogged your cat.

1st question how much will it cost me to replace 02 sensor? (part+labor)

I already know how to make sure it's bad or not thanks to malibujack.

2nd question What caused my 02 sensor to go?.. 16,000 miles on the car, no racing, no drag, just modifying the hell out of it. I don't use race gas so that can't be it. I just don't want this happening again so I'm trying to find ways to possibly protect it.

It seems the CEL I got for the 02 sensor came right after... cam shafts install w/ arp head bolts + fuel pump and a custom flash also time on the dyno if that affects anything... they were all done by well known experienced Evo professionals so I don't think they did anything wrong but everyone makes mistakes...

go to buschur's website....and buy the one they got for 85 bucks. I did mine last week. Just wait for the car to cool down, get the wrench ( i know it'll only turn like 1/6 of the way each turn if you leave the LICP intact)

then put the new one in after you unplug the old one and put anti sieze on the new one's threads.

pm me if your having trouble

their are 2 types you can buy. universal, which means you have to cut the wires from your original & reuse the plug.

or oe replacements which come with the correct wire length & new plug. plug & play. ntk = oe.
