10.5 HotSide

What is a 10.5 hotside and what does it do? I have an 03 and someone told me to put this on my car but really have not clue as to what they are talking about. Help Please.

Have a stock ex: intake and exuaste 03 Evo and what to make good power have about $5000 saved up what would be some good mods

the 10.5 housing is basically a larger turbine housing for the factory 03-04 cars.
this allows for better topend on the factory turbo.

do you have a specific power goal or driving style you are looking to tailor the car to?
this will help to recommend a good path to achieve your goals.

hope this helps

Ken

Give You A Little More Mid And Top End. If You Wanna Keep Your Car Stock, It's A Good Thing To Buy 10.5 Hotside, Unless Your Evo Is An 2005

I would recommend a TME 6.5 titanium turbo for the money you will be spending on a 10.5 hotside + installation hassle. It will give you a better spool up and better top end.

5G'S, screw the 10.5. you need a test pipe, catback, cams, (probably clutch soner than later) than a ATP 3071 or 3078 (somes with dp). flash (or other) and maybe mbc. should be about 5k. you will have some serious HP. im typing quick so i probably forgot something.
