The car was pulling so hard that the new Exedy Clutch was slipping and we had to abort the dyno session so he could put some more break in miles on the clutch

Yes, the torque curve on this car is amazing, whether it's 290wtq or 390wtq...I admit that my curves don't look like that using my own tuning.

We just haven't seen them without race gas or meth before today.
It's been done, 2 years ago in fact. By A Turbo Trixx Customer by the name of Ron on a 2003 9.8 hot side no less with full boltons, no cat, 272's and of course an AEM EMS. He ran a 11.8 at 117MPH

Very believable numbers I had a similar set up ARC intake box,Greddy PROFEC2,SAFC2,Taipan XP (Vishnu) 3" turbo back w/cat delete,Slow boy fmic,264/272 HKS cams,Vishnu cam gears (-8 intake -2 exhaust) DN Perormance twin scroll tubular header,Samco intercooler piping,Turbo XS RH34 bov,Walboro fuel pump and a Exedy twin disk.Tuned by Dave at F1 dyno 384 awhp 375 tq 23 psi tapering down to 21 0n 93 oct.

On this tune, I could not make an ounce more power as his injectors were 100% maxed out. The a/f is significantly leaner on this pull than I normally tune for as the injectors were all the way open.
Now he needs bigger injectors and to break in the clutch for a couple of days and we can see what it will max out at.
There is no doubt that that the individual car in question here is a very good match of parts from the factory. It has a super quiet engine which exibits almost zero knock and the turbo holds boost really well. I have a theory that much of the evo to evo power variation stems from the factory wastegate arm set up. I wish I had had more time to investigate the settings on his wastegate arm but the day was growing long.
The tune on this car was one of my best ever as the tq and power curves are literally flat. Everything came together really well and when I drove it on the road it was a real pleasure, massive low end grunt and smooth as silk.
One thing I forgot to mention, believe it or not the guy had giant 19" rims which probably cost him 15 - 20 whp to spin on the dyno.
