hacked airbox ?
I was wondering if it would help with airflow to cut a hole out of the top of the airbox. I know this was a nice free mod with the DSM's

you would be able to hear the "cool turbo sounds" then. The stock airbox is pretty good on the evo. Much better then the dsm airboxes

I agree, good airbox, air goes right in there. Keep it the way it is so if you replace it and for some reason need to put it back in, you don't have a huge hole on top.

With a K&N panel filter, id bet you'd see some nice gains by cutting a hole in the top of the lid.

maybe I'll try to get a spare top and try it to see if it does anything. anybody have a top they want to sell

Blitz Induction Cover is just like essentially running with the airbox lid off.
