i'm running an AEM short ram on my 05, works perfectly without a tune. Great sound, i don't notice much performance, spool is a bit quicker, not much.

I currently have the AEM short ram. Minimal power gains. Turbo seems to spool a little quicker. The most impressive thing about this intake was the increased sound of the turbo spooling and the bov.

i like my br intake and filter

flash or ems is a must with any intake in order to get max power

otherwise minimal gains if any, but helps make it sound cool i guess

I have tried the Blitz drop in panel filter and now use the HKS RS intake. The blitz was a waste of money and didn't do a thing performance wise that I could tell. The HKS RS is amazing and would highly recommend it to anyone tuned or untuned.

I have the TurboXS. I like it. Cheap and simple... I like it... Don't know about about gains/losses but did make the turbo and BOV louder.

I like the Apexi filter, don't plan on using it until my stock intake becomes a restriction.

HKS panel filter and stock airbox ... no driveability issues, nice sound ... what more do you need?

K&N dropin filter without question. Unless you're going EMS and larger turbo- the gained power from an aftermarket pipe and filter is minimal and is harder to tune around. I've had three different intakes and without a flash- the K&N dropin is the best performing.

Pretty thorough list, good job

I'm using the HKS RS Suction Pipe with a K&N cone filter. No complaints.

Side Note: The 'accordian' style filters like K&N and other companies use, are much better at filtration than the foam filter like HKS uses. Just a FYI.
