because it makes more hp... you think turbos are for race gas?

gt30r = gt3076 or gt3071? im thinking about getting one of these turbo's also on stock internals and am curious how the stock internals will hold out or even what their max potential is so I know where to make a marker at.

3076 apparently, but sometimes people use it to refer to the series when they say gt30 series. the limit of the stock bottom? is around 600hp, you can run the 30 series turbos safely on stock bottom end, if you increase boost significantly headstuds are a very good idea.

It's about air flow. A bigger turbo will make more power at less psi than a smaller turbo with higher psi. 10psi on my 3076 pulls as hard as 20 did on the stock turbo.

30 Series turbos can come in a bunch of different trims. Think 3071, 3076, 3037, and on and on.
