AMS is also pressure tested to over 40psi in a jig. High stress points are stitch welded from the inside to increase burst strength. And it is probaly the best value and looks great and so is the performance.

i'm taking if you were to change out the intake manifold you would most likely need a tune to make the engine run correctly if you were on the stock turbo?

This guy knows what he's talking about. Yes our intake manifold is welded on the inside at stress points. It is by far the most complete kit out there. It comes with new gaskets, throttle body coolant hoses, support bracket, new dipstick tube, all vacuum fittings, and necessary bolts. You can put this thing on in your garage with nothing more than hand tools and some new vacuum line and not have to make a trip to Autozone to pick up a damn thing. Not to mention it comes in the most beautiful packing you'll EVER see.

The fastest EVO VIII's in the world are all running the AMS intake manifold.

I think that says alot about the construction of the manifold.

just yesterday we dynoed a 2.30 (stock motor) 35R car we built here at the shop and after the intake manifold it gained 30 AWHP! Thats one hell of a piece. From the engineering of the piece to its fabrication and performance we will put our manifold in a side by side comparison with Any other manifold on the market.

Just look under the hood of the AMS EVO VIII, TurboTrix's EVO VIII, Curt Brown's EVO, AL's EVO, Dan Bajalis' Evo...I can go on

oh and John Shepherd's Talon Got an AMS intake manifold about 2 months ago. Coincidentally he has broken his record twice since then...hmmmmmmm lol

If its good enough for a 7 sec talon its good enough for me.

Eric

Ya, our manifold is welded on the inside for added strength as well. I believe we are the only companies actually doing this. During testing if we didn't do this they would split open on high HP cars over long periods on time. This is no longer a problem an have been tested up to 50psi.

does the rnr or ams manifold work without aem?? does it have a spot for the sensors like on the stock manifold?

any large intake manifold on a stock turbo car is going to have mild gains. yes you will pick up some HP and torque but large plenum intake manifolds are designed for larger turbo applications. Will it hurt performance...no. Just dont expect 30 whp from it with a stock turbo. Its a piece that will make more power the bigger the turbo and more boost you throw at it, much in the way of a large intercooler.

Yes our manifold works fine without AEM and has all the provisions for the stock vaccum lines and even includes a new dipstick that weaves its way around the massive plenum.
