the egr valve silenoid went out in my car and the engine light is on shop didn't have the part on hand . they said it would take 5 days to get one. they also said car was ok the drive and should run fine but the engine light gonna stay on. is this true cause the car once its up to temp seems to want to die on me and its never happened before the silenoid went bad. aslo am i better off putting it a egr valve block off plate or fixing the silenoid and if i do an block off plate will the engine light still be on or is the away to make it turn off with this mod
