It doesn't rub the radiator hose, but it will lay against the side of the stock battery. I have a slightly smaller Optima battery and it's almost touching the positive terminal.

Ive had fitment problems with 2 diff. brands and just stuck to the stock pipe because the power gains aint worth it.

Mine fits fine after moving the battery tray a tad, It is a tight fit but doesn't "rub" against anything... also you'll need a plug to cover that 2nd hole on the pipe for JDM Evo's,... I got a rubber plug from Home Depot.

I wouldn't say the fitment is poor. I use my Dremel to remove a couple small bumps in the right side of the battery tray. I was able to move the battery about 1" to the right. It definitely dresses up the engine bay. As far as capping the additional tube, I found that the small rubber caps, used for chair legs, fit perfectly. Got them from Home Depot.
