Hey, How much power are you wanting to get? If you are looking for minor upgrades one of the easiest and quickest way is to add an air intake. This will make your stock BOV sound like aftermarket, and it will give you a quicker turbo spool along with louder turbo spool. I was impressed with what it did to mine.

no do not get an intake unless you get a tune after installing it, you will just have problems...who cares for the loud bov sound, i rather have my car run good....get a boost gauge and a manual boost controller, or you can also get a flash.....dont waste your money on an intake yet.....

Also, If you are looking for other good ways, intercooler piping is a good one, exhaust and downpipe with cat delete and turbo manifold and outlet. I did this to mine and it gave me a good 45 hp. At least you dont have to deal with a 10 second evo where i live by I'm getting there though. It all depends on how much money you want to spend and how much hp you want to achieve.

I put an HKS air intake on mine and it runs perfect and gave me more power. But yes a boost controller would be a good thing to have. But dont turn up your boost if you dont have a way to monitor your boost and know how much you are running. a guage or a boost controller that displays it would be a good idea.

Man are you giving wrong info. No intake. Maybe drop in K&N filter. TBE , boost gauge, MBC, flash is quick and easy HP.

Depending on you driving abilty and year of EVO a TBE, MBC, Fuel Pump, and a custom flash would put you in the mid to high 12's. If you went as cheap as possible you could get all the parts for a little over $1000.

I just went by what i did to mine. First thing i did to mine was exhaust, downpipe and cat delete. Then i went for "lettting the engine breathe" and getting an HKS intake and getting rid of the airbox. It took less than 45 mins to install and gave me more power. It only costed me about 150 too. So i just thought i'd throw it out there to see if that's what he wanted to do. I agree with what you all are saying too. I guess it just depends on how far he is planning to go with his car. The reasons why i did this to mine is because i'm dropping a bigger turbo in it next week, and at first i thought i wasnt going to do any of that but then it came to me one day. Just trying to help. I apologize if i gave the wrong info or what not.

Ok, just stop giving information to people. Intakes wouldn't help in this situation at all, they would probally cause performance to drop. First mod I would recommend would be an Exhaust, MBC + Gauge, and get the intake if you're going to get flashed.

But when i first got mine i was in the same boat as he is. There was a GSR around here with a turbo on it and everything i did worked for me, and now i beat him by 2 lengths And now that i'm going to put a new turbo in it, I'm shooting for that low 11 second del sol and 10 second evo

Hey drpepper, this is a good site to get parts from, and you can ask these people some questions if you would like. They know alot and you offer them prices on items. They are very good with what they do. Just check it out. (This is not "Wrong" info)
