Help losing power!
Help losing power!
Ok well to start off I just got retuned on my v-pro by David Buschur. I am currently tuned on 100%meth+pump gas. On the way home from the tune I was hitting 181 kpa or 26.2psi and was pulling very hard from 3k rpms to 8k. I went to the track that friday and ran a 11.8@116. well I started hitting lower boost the next week max 166 kpa or 24psi, so I did a boost leak test, and I found 4 major leaks, one at the tb coupler one at a boost gauge connection one was my bov becuse the set screw had fallen out and the last one was a blown off vaccum line. I fixed all the leaks thinking I was goin to be hitting some high boost and to my suprise the car feels even slower hitting max 167 or 24psi... It seems to have great lowend and lacks midrange 3-4.5krpms, it seems to pull fine at high rpms..
Ok here is my question's... First why can't I hit any higher than 24psi, second why the loss in midrange power?
I have heard there is a chance that my plugs could be getting blown out, does that make any since?
some facts to help better explain. When I hit peak boost it holds till redline. My timming is at a 6 degree's @peak. Tuned rich for saftey at 10.8-11.0afr.
mods are in sig, stock turbo
